Torrance Cananea photographs, ca. 1900-1911.

Summary: Photographs of mining in Sonora, Mexico including Cananea, Mexico such as a September 16, 1910 celebration, parade and the town plaza, interior and exteriors of mine buildings, miners' cages, and a company store interior after a raid; view and buildings in Ronquillo, Mexico and images of Gen Juan Cabral's troops arriving in Cananea in May 1911. There are also images of transportation including wagon and oxen on the Naco Road to Cananea, freight wagons with horse teams, the Naco Road repair crew repairing the road in 1928, workers laying railroad track, and trains on trestles. There is one image of Emilio Kosterlitzky on horseback and one of the Field and Company store.
